Student tickets
To purchase a student ticket, the student must present a valid student card.
Any other form will not be accepted.
 
For students, you get a 50% discount on regular ticket prices and only with a MOTION card
Who is entitled to buy a Student Card:
ONLY WITH PERSONALIZED MOTION CARD

 

 With a new notification from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, we inform you that the beneficiaries for reduced fares for all categories of routes (50%) will be the students who carry and present the identity of the following recognized Universities of Cyprus: 
  1. University of Cyprus
  2. Technological University of Cyprus
  3. Open University of Cyprus
  4. European University of Cyprus
  5. Frederick University
  6. University of Neapolis
  7. University of Central Lancashire – Cyprus  (U.C.L.AN)
  8. University of Nicosia

The rest of the students should contact the Youth Board of Cyprus (ONEK) which is the body responsible for issuing the European Youth Card for students (Student Card). The European Youth Card for students will be issued to students attending Higher Education Schools in Cyprus which are recognized by SEKAP (as stated in the Ministry of Education and Culture). Please note that all European Youth Cards must be accepted regardless of the country in which they have been issued.

When is a student card considered valid?

A student card that includes the following is considered valid:

            Recent photo of the holder.

            Name of the University or College that issued it.

            Start and end date of the current academic year (eg 2016-2017).

 

How long before I need to credit my electronic smart card before I travel?

The top-up on your card will be activated within the next 24 hours.

Where can I find tickets
  1. At the entrance of the bus the driver issues ONLY regular tickets one-way and paper monthly ONLY with cash.
  2. Only with the Personalized Motion Card you can benefit from a 50% discount on fares and free transportation. 
Do I want to obtain an annual card for unlimited intercity bus routes that I will apply to?

You can create the Motion smart card where you can get it from our company's Sales points.

Are reservations made?
We can not make any reservation.
How can I be served from Larnaca airport?
You can take the city bus number 418 or 419 or 440 where the LPT company is based in Larnaca and it will take you down to the city specifically to Finikoudes from where our buses will take you to any city you want.
How can I find out if something I have lost has been found?

Which materials or objects are prohibited from being transported by intercity buses?
